These five plaques were made from the same matrix. A lion's head, seen from above, i.e. lower jaw not shown. The beginning of the mane indicated above the forehead by identical tufts. Parallel folds at the base of the long nose give the head an oriental appearance. Tiny holes along edges for attachment.
